Do you offer night court?
At this time night court is not an option; we can assist you at the counter with traffic school, payment plans, or to set a hearing for you to appear. The Court is open Monday- Friday 8am to 4pm. Lobby doors open at 7:30am.
I have a DMV hold, what does that mean?
When you do not take action on your ticket by the due date it puts you in a failure to appear status. Once this occurs, a failure to appear hold is placed on your California driver’s license by the court. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) can suspend your driver’s license unless you take action on the ticket.
Can I pay online?
Yes, if you are making a one-time payment in full, you may pay using the online payment system.
Why do I have to pay a correction fee to the court if I paid the agency?
Each citing agency has its own policy on whether to charge a fee to sign off on a proof of correction. The $25 fee you pay to the court is a dismissal fee.
Can I have an extension?
We are able to provide a one-time 60-day extension or two 30-day extensions on infraction citations.
Can I attend traffic school if I have a class A license?
Yes, if you were driving your own personal vehicle at the time the citation was issued, you may attend traffic school.
How many times can I take traffic school?
Traffic School may be taken once every 18 months from violation date to violation date.
Do you offer walk-in court hearings?
Not at this time. All court appearances must be scheduled in advance by contacting the court by telephone or in person.
How do I schedule a court date?
To contest your citation, you can appear at the clerk’s office or send a letter entering your plea of not guilty. Arraignments may be scheduled in person at the clerk’s office, or over the phone.
