Effective January 1, 2010, California Rules of Court, rule 10.500 sets forth comprehensive public access provisions applicable to judicial administrative records maintained by state trial courts.
The Court will make identifiable judicial administrative records available upon request, unless the records are exempt from disclosure under rule 10.500. Records may be subject to payment of a fee pursuant to subdivision (e)(4) and (i)(2) of rule 10.500.
Adjudicative records are not disclosable under a request for judicial administrative records. If you would like information about a case or access to documents prepared for, filed, or used in a court proceeding, please contact the court district where the case was filed and/or heard.
